Application and surface preparation
To ensure optimal performance and long-term adhesion of OMT Tape1, follow these application guidelines:
1. Surface Cleaning: Ensure the application surface is clean, dry, and free from oil, dust, grease, moisture, and chemical residues. Use isopropyl alcohol (IPA) or industrial floor cleaner for best results.
2. Temperature: Apply at room temperatures between $15^\circ\text{C}$ and $30^\circ\text{C}$ for maximum tackiness.
3. Application Technique: Unroll the tape smoothly along a pre-marked reference chalk line. Apply pressure evenly.
Firm Pressing / Tamping: Use a weighted rubber roller or heavy vehicle wheel over the installed tape to ensure maximum adhesive contact with the floor surface.
